We make a concerted effort to structure each transaction to meet an owner's specific financial and personal goals. Generally we are most interested in change-of-control transactions.

Transaction Situations
Exit Strategy/ Retirement	Providing ownership with an avenue to discreetly sell a business and pursue other interests. Our long-term investment horizons provide entrepreneurs with the confidence and peace-of-mind that their business and its people will continue to prosper despite a change in control.
Management Buyouts	Financing incumbent managers in the acquisition of privately-held companies, corporate divisions and small public corporations.
Management Buy-Ins	Financing an outside manager or management team to acquire a target company. While we prefer that management have previous industry knowledge, this is not essential depending on the personnel involved.
*Divestitures*	Large public or private parent corporations selling off non-core business units.
*Recapitalizations*	An entrepreneur/owner sells a majority stake of their business, but retains a meaningful ownership interest and stays on to run the company.

Cornerstone will not make minority investments nor will we provide growth capital to early stage ventures.
